Production Link data collection systems from DLoG (UK)

Production Link is an advanced data collection system which connects seamlessly with an existing ERP system and creates an invisible bridge between back-office and production. All relevant information for the manufacturing process is automatically retrieved from the ERP-system, conveniently arranged and presented in a user-friendly manner. It is then delivered to the production operators via Touch Screen terminals so that they can select the order they are going to start simply by touching on the screen and then record the requested production data such as when orders are completed, interrupted and quantities made. Then after calculation and approval, the data sent back to the ERP-system

Production Link is not an ERP system, but is complimentary to such a system and the whole basis for correct data recording is that information is not fed in the usual way via barcode scanners and a keyboard, but from the ERP-system and then presented to the machine operators. All information is validated and hence incorrect orders or incorrect barcode scans are no longer possible and therefore the reliability of the information collected is improved dramatically.
