UE6110, the latest high technology grade for steel turning, from Mitsubishi Materials

UE6110 uses “2 in 1 Technology” produced by combining 2 types of newly developed coatings and delivers a machining performance that fully satisfies the modern needs of cutting tools over an ever increasing range of applications.

1. The "Nano-texture Coating" consists of a TiCN layer which has been made finer and more uniform by the use of a newly developed crystal control technology.

2. “Black Super-even Coating”, a black, extremely smooth coating on the flank stabilises wear development.

3. The carbide substrate with an angled surface hardness structure, designed with an optimal internal composition and distribution of hardness, has a high resistance to chipping, heat and plastic deformation.
