New drying machines from PDJ Vibro

Compact ASC50 and ASC70 centrifugal drying machines, for component drying or oil separating.

Vibro drying machine The ASC50 and ASC70 centrifugal drying machines have a tilting load and unload facility that eliminates the need for crane loading, making them the perfect solution for workshops with limited space. The drying machines have variable speed controls up to 550rpm for sensitive parts and can cater for components down to 2mm as seen in the electronics and medical markets.

The baskets have a dimension of 460 and 490mm diameter with a depth of 250 and 320mm for the ASC50 and ASC70 respectively. This gives the ASC50 and ASC70 machines a capacity of 40 and 60Kg or a theoretical volume of 41 and 60 litres respectively.

The smaller of the two dryers, the ASC50 has a 2700W drying element that is complimented by a powerful 750W motor that is more than capable of driving the basket at full capacity with a total installed power of 3450W. The rigid and robust unit has an overall weight of 200Kg for its 970 by 780 by 1050mm (LxWxH) frame.

The larger ASC70 encompasses a 4200W heating element with a powerful 1500W motor that gives a total installed power of 5700W. This sits within an 1110 by 830 by 1200mm (LxWxH) envelope with a weight of 285Kg.

The new dryers are believed ideal for applications with parts that have blind holes or intricate dimensions where maize dryers can leave maize remnants;  parts are left dry but dirty. With the environment being such a key issue, an additional attribute of the PDJ Vibro ASC50 & ASC70 machines is their ability to be used as oil separating machines. As the machine rotates the oil can be separated and collected into a tray that allows the operator to place the oil or coolant back into the machine the parts were processed upon.

Guaranteeing 100% separation, this gives the end user cost reductions with less oil waste as well as improved quality and finish of parts.
